Missions Ministry

The Missions Ministry of PCC attempts to spread the love of Jesus to our community and into various parts of the world through financial and prayer support. We also engage in short-term mission trips for the members.

JOHNSON UNIVERSITY FLORIDA formerly Florida Christian College FCC in Kissimmee, Florida, is a small, coeducational 4-year institution whose motto is “Strong in the Scriptures.” The Bible is the core of all degree programs. The college has regional accreditation and awards degrees in a variety of ministry and mission specializations, as well as teacher education and music education. www.fcc.edu
FLORIDA CHURCH PLANTERS Support for this mission opens doors for starting new churches throughout the state of Florida. In 2005, two new congregations formed...one in Tallahassee and one in Jacksonville. PCC BENEVOLENCE MINISTRY We seek to meet daily needs of families in the church and outside in the community as they encounter hard times and need a financial and spiritual lift. This ministry also extends to scholarships for summer Christian camp tuition help.
MAURICIO MEXICO MISSION Juan Mauricio is the director of the Mauricio Mission that is located in Piedras Negras, Mexico. Once a year, a group of people from PCC travel to Mexico to assist in a variety of ways. They put concrete roofs on homes, deliver food to those in need and offer support and encouragement. They always return home feeling like they were blessed even more than those who received the much needed help.
LAKE AURORA CHRISTIAN CAMP This Christian camp and retreat center has served the churches of central Florida since 1947. The camp is located just east of Lake Wales, and includes facilities to minister to the whole family. The summer camp program exceeds 30 programs and more than 2,400 campers. The retreats throughout the year provide great spiritual training and an evangelistic outreach for men, ladies, leaders, seniors, and college students. www.lakeaurora.org
INTERNATIONAL DISASTER EMERGENCY SERVICE (I.D.E.S.) Based in Kempton, Indiana, this benevolent mission group sends disaster funds to missionaries throughout the world to help families during natural disasters. Churches send funds for distribution to open doors for the gospel. www.ides.org
Grace Landing Mission: Grace Landing strives to mentor young adults for a life of integrity. ST. LOUIS CHRISTIAN COLLEGE SLCC provides opportunities for people to study and prepare for ministry in churches and missions in the United States and worldwide. JAPAN ACTS Gary and Weiling Kline and their three children are working to spread the gospel in Karuizawa, Japan. It is just north of Tokyo. The family moved there and began language language training to better spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. www.japanacts.com
JAMAICA CHRISTIAN SERVICE Brother Winston Scott and a staff of missionaries work with the 40 churches on the Island of Jamaica. The Gospel is being spread throughout the island as the mission provides a Christian School, a Christian camp, leadership training, and Bible college courses. MID-INDIA CHRISTIAN MISSION Vivek and Angela Lall and their family have been lovingly caring for the people of India and teaching them about Jesus for many years. There are a billion people in India and most of them still need to find Jesus. This mission has schools, hospitals, and preacher training facilities to minister to the needs of the people. The latest project is to build a School for Rehabilitation of the Crippled and Blind. www.midindia.com
