PCC Classroom Security Policy

Nursery – 5th grade

To enhance the safety of your child please adhere to the following:
• Please escort your child to his/her respective classroom.
• Please sign your child in on the form attached to the clipboard located outside the
classroom (please include all of the requested information). Should we need to
summon you during the service your child’s ID # will flash on the black pagers positioned
on the walls on either side of the stage in the auditorium. Please proceed immediately to
your child’s classroom.
• Following the service an authorized person (someone with a valid ID card or Visitor
badge) should return to the child’s classroom to pick up the child. For the child’s
protection, a child will not be released to a person without a valid Visitor badge or
ID card.
• If you do not have an ID card please obtain a Visitor badge from the Welcome Center or
the Nursery Front Desk. You will be given a Visitor badge and the child will be given a
disposable name badge with his/her first and last name and corresponding ID #. Please
return your Visitor badge to the Welcome Center before you leave PCC.
• If you would like to request an ID card, identification forms are available at the Welcome
Center and the Nursery Front Desk. Please complete a form for each child in your
family (Nursery- 5th grade) and return it to the Welcome Center. Your ID card (s) will
be available to be picked up at the Welcome Center the following Sunday.
• If you have previously been issued an ID card but you would like to request a new ID
card (s), please complete the updated form and return the forms (s) to the Welcome
Center. Your new ID card (s) will be available to be picked up at the Welcome Center the
following Sunday.
